Internships and Professional Experience
During my undergraduate studies at Florida State University, I had the opportunity to intern with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.  At the FDEP, I was mentored by Jeff Raley, a professional engineer and Coastal Engineering Project Manager for the Florida State Park System.  With over 100 miles of sandy beaches throughout 40 coastal state parks, I assited in the design, management, and permitting processess for  coastal construction projects throughout the Florida State Park system.  During my internship experience, I was nomintated by Florida State Univeristy for the Cooperative Education and Internship Association's National Academic Internship Award Candidate in 2011.
